2020 - What a year, right?!

Needless to say it's tested us all in one way or another and for businesses - large and small alike - it's pushed us to breaking points, given us time to stop spinning plates and encouraged us to recharge both ourselves and the businesses we've been so invested in for years.

For myself and my incredible team, we've been amongst the lucky ones and unsurprisingly, our loyal customers of over six years were ready and waiting for us to reopen.

Since returning to Lady Bay on 11th May, you've kept us just as busy as before and as we are all self-employed, you've kept our livelihoods afloat, too. For your well wishes, your support and your continued custom - we thank you!

Like most, we have spent the last few months assessing how we work, the time and skill we put in to each of our mighty pups and the increase in costs of the products we use.

Because of this, we have decided to amend our pricing structure as of 1st October 2020.

You may notice that some of these prices will have increased significantly however, please know that our rates are still in line with other grooming salons in the area and all costs are a reflection of the time and work your breed requires.

Unlike some other groomers, we don't offer a selection of 'add on' treatments nor a variety of packages with additional fee's attached. Our premium shampoo's, facial scrubs and finishing sprays are merely a basic standard of the grooming process here at Hurley's, as I have always been a believer that no dog should receive less than the best.

On top of this, we always strive to maintain a relaxed environment in our salon. Working one-to-one with each of our dogs means that our attention and focus is always 100% dedicated to your dog - allowing each of us the ability to give the best care and to produce the highest standard of work possible.

Due to the variations in both the sizes and coat types of certain breeds (predominantly Cockapoos and Doodles) these increases will differ ever so slightly but will be confirmed to all of our current clients via text and to all new customers upon arrival.

Small breeds (short-coated) from £30 (Pug, French Bulldog, short-coated Dachshund)

Small breeds (clipped) from £38

(Yorkshire Terrier, Jack Russell Terrier, long haired Dachshund)

Medium breeds from £40

(Miniature Schnauzer, Shih Tzu, West Highland Terrier, Cocker Spaniel...)

Large breeds from £45

(Springer Spaniel, Golden Retriever, Border Collie...)

Bathing and de-shedding grooms from £33 (Labrador, Bulldog, Basset Hound...)
